Dude. If you go to a Flogging Molly concert, wear a raincoat and prepare to be shoved around like a ragdoll. And watch out for the flying beer! But it was fun! :) They play some great music, and [info]misterfizzy was insane and took video while being knocked around in the mosh pit.

It is bloody freakin' cold here. The Cold is a physical force that just about knocks you over when you step outside. This is new for me, people. I live in a land where it never gets below 30 degrees F. Ever. Brrr...

Dear London Underground,

Why in the name of all that's holy do you not do maintenance at night? Instead you close THREE lines on the weekend when there's 40 bajillion people all trying to get places, thereby making the Piccadilly Line crowded as all hell. You suck. But I still love you because you're better than the San Diego trolley. And I have no car here.

In other news, got to stare at lovely Gil-galad pics in the LOTR Weapons and Warfare book at Waterstones. :) Too 'spensive to buy here though. I'll buy it at home.

It sounds like the Rammstein concert I went to. Except we were sitting too far away to be threatened by beer because drunk people can't throw that high. ;)

Isn't it a great book? There's some wonderful stuff on sword making in there too. I think I scanned those Gilly pages for the MF ML. Want me to scan them again and send?

Nah, s'okay. I think I've seen them before, but it's been a long time since I've had my enormous database of files available to me. (20 more days!) :)

I am seriously fearing my frat-boy flatmates right now. I think they're trying to kill themselves with drugs.
