SQUEE!!
Had to have my fangirl moment. I met Sean Astin today! He was doing a book signing and I just had to go and see the hobbit. :) For the record, he's a super nice guy, and we had a nice chat about the zoo where I work and the day he visited with his family. He also thought it was cool that our mums have the same name. :D I asked him to personalize it for my mum, and he asked, "Your mom or mine?" I, forgetting that his mum is Patty Duke, said mine and told him her name. He laughed and said, "Well, it doesn't matter, does it?" ^_^ The signing was in a comics store, so after I geeked through another few fandoms around the store, we went to see St. Paul's Cathedral.

Awesome cathedral. The choir was practising for Evensong accompanied by the organ. I wanted to join them. I miss the choir. :) Well, misterfizzy and I just had to get our money's worth, so we climbed the 423 stairs to the top of the dome to stand on "the rooftops of London". And yes, "Chim-Chiminy" was running through my head the entire time, doing battle with "Feed the Birds". I'm getting "Mary Poppins" overload in this city. ;-D

I have less than 2 weeks left in London! :( This city has really become my home. Ok, I could do without the horrible exchange rate, but I really enjoy living here.
